Lauren Skidmore came up big on both sides of the ball in Revere's 16-3 win over Kent Roosevelt. Offensively, she went 4-5 with 3 singles, a double, 4 runs scored and 3 RBI's. On defense, Skidmore had 2 assists and and 3 putouts. Shannon Appel also did her part on offense, going 3-5 with 2 singles, a home run and 3 RBI's. Appel also picked up the win in the circle, pitching a 5 hitter, striking out 7 on her way to the victory. Also helping the Revere offense, which banged out 18 hits in the game were Courtenay Amentini with 2 singles, 2 runs, and 2 RBI's, Audrey York, with 2 singles and a double, 1 run and 2 RBI's, Jeanne Hujer with 2 singles and 3 RBI's and Jennica Levermann had 2 singles and 2 runs scored to round out the Revere attack. The Minutemen play their last game of the season, Saturday May 18th against Tallmadge at Elms Sports Complex. Game time is 11AM.  

The Revere varsity softball team scored 15 runs on 15 hits as the Minutemen took the season series from the rival Copley Indians by a score of 15-6. Leading the way for Revere was JR OF Claire Brokloff who had 3 hits, 2 stolen bases, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI on the day. JR OF Katie Azzolina went 2-3 with 2 hits, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Azzolina also made 2 diving catches to help put out Copley rallies. SO OF Audrey York had 2 hits, 2 runs scored and 3 RBI's while SO 1B Adison Novosel had 2 doubles and 3 RBI's.  FR 2B Jeanne Hujer had 2 hits and 3 runs scored. JR C Courtenay Amentini had a double and Lauren Skidmore, Shannon Appel and Jennica Leverman also had hits for Revere. SO P Shannon Appel got the win, pitching 7 innings, striking out 9 and allowing just 2 walks. Revere travels to Kent on Monday, May 13. Game time is 4:30 PM.

Shannon Appel and Jennica Levermann combined to no hit Orange 19-0 in an Akron D2 Sectional game. Appel struck out 6 and Levermann 2, on the way to the win. On the night, Claire Brokloff had 2 singles , 2 runs and 1 RBI, Adison Novosel had 2 singles, 2 runs and an RBI and Levermann had a double, 3 runs and 4 RBI's. Katie Azzolina, Paige Ellis, and Ashley Ellis also had hits for Revere. Revere will play CVCA on Thursday, May 9th at CVCA. Game time is 5:00 PM 

One error, two walks, four stolen bases, four singles and five runs was all Revere needed to do to beat Copley in the bottom of the seventh inning in a Suburban League American Conference game. All of Revere’s hits and scoring came with two outs. The game-winner came off the bat of Shannon Appel, who lined a 2-2 pitch over the second baseman’s head to score Lauren Skidmore and Katie Azzolina to end the game walk-off style. Katie Azzolina was 3-4 with 3 singles and 2 RBI's, Claire Brokloff was 3-4  with 3 singles and 5 stolen bases, and Adison Novosel was 2-3 with 2 runs scored. 

Revere spotted Highland 4 runs in the first inning and battled back, scoring twice in the bottom of the 7th inning but it wasn't enough as the Hornets won by a 6-4 tally. JR C Lauren Skidmore went 3-4 for Revere, with 3 singles and 2 runs scored.

The Revere Varsity Softball team went to bat in the top of the 7th inning trailing by a score of 3-1. When the dust settled, Revere scored 3 runs to take a 4-3 lead. Sophomore P Haley McEwen shut the Barberton offense down in the bottom of the 7th to seal the win for Revere. Revere scored in the first inning when JR OF Claire Brokloff led off with a single. Brokloff scored on a double by JR OF Katie Azzolina to put Revere ahead 1-0. Barberton managed to score 3 runs in the 3rd inning and the score stood at 3-1 going into the top of the 7th. In the Revere 7th, JR 3B Amanda Fribley reached on an error. Brokloff hit a single, moving Fribley to second.  FR Abbie Gayner ran for Fribley and Azzolina hit a single that scored Gayner. Brokloff scored on a SAC Fly by FR SS Jeanne Hujer, while Azzolina moved to third. JR C Lauren Skidmore then lifted a SAC fly to center that scored Azzolina, giving Revere a 4-3 lead.  McEwen then closed out the game in the bottom of the 7th to notch her second win of the season. The win gives Revere a 3-3 record in SLA competition. Revere plays Highland at home on Tuesday, April 23. Game time is 4:30 at the Our Lady Of The Elms complex.  

Revere Varsity softball lost a heartbreaker to Tallmadge at Firestone Stadium by a 1-0 score. Jennica Levermann and Katie Azzolina had the only two hits of the day for Revere. Revere plays Poland Seminary on Thursday, April 18th at Firestone Stadium at 4:00 PM.

The Revere Varsity Softball team lost an SLA game to Aurora by a score of 9-1. Revere could only manage 6 hits on the evening and never really got anything going. Lauren Skidmore had a single and a double and a run scored and Shannon Appel had a double and an RBI.

The Revere Varsity Softball team beat Kent Roosevelt 15-0 behind the pitching of SP P's Jennica Levermann and Shannon Appel. Levermann picked up her second win of the season, pitching 3 shut out innings and Appel pitched the final two innings in releif. Revere's bats were hot , tallying 20 hits on the evening. Leading the way were Juniors Courtenany Amentini, 2-3 with 2 singles and run, Katie Azzolina, 2-4, single, double, 2 runs, and 3 RBI's, Claire Brokloff, 3-4, 2 singles, double, 2 runs and 3 RBI's, Lauren Skidmore, 3-4 with a single, double, triple, run and RBI. Sophomore Adison Novosel went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 runs, and Shannon Appel was 2-3 with a single, double and 2 runs and 3 RBI's. Audrey York also singled and scored a run.  Freshman Abbie Gayner was 2-3 with 2 singles, run and 1 RBI and Jeanne Hujer was 3-3 with 3 singles, 3 runs and 2 RBI's. Revere takes on SLA foe Aurora on Tuesday, April 9 at The Elms Sports complex. Game time is 4:30

Freshmen 3B Abbie Gayner had a single and 2B Jeanne Hujer had a double and scored Revere's lone run in a SLA divison loss to Highland at Highland.  Revere's bats went cold against the Hornets, managing just 6 hits on the evening. JR OF Claire Brokloff, JR C Lauren Skidmore, SO P Shannon Appel and SO SS Jennica Levermann all singled. Brokloff had the lone RBI and also had two running catches in the outfield while JR OF Courtenay Amentini helped out with two nice outfield snags. Revere's next game is Monday, April 8th against Kent Roosevelt at the Elms Sports Complex. Game time is 4:30 PM.

SO SS Jennica Levermann helped power Revere to a 9-5 SLA League win over the Barberton Magics. She singled in the second, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth. She also had 2 runs and 2 RBI's to help power the Revere offense.  JR OF Claire Brokloff went 3-4 with 3 singles a run, an RBI and 2 stolen bases. SO. P Shannon Appel went 3-4 with a single, double and triple. Appel also had 2 runs and 2 RBI's. FR 2B Jeanne Hujer added a single , double and 1 RBI and FR 3B Abbie Gayner added 2 singles in the first league win of the 2019 season. Shannon Appel got her second win of the season. She went seven innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and striking out five. Revere plays Highland, Thursday at Highland. Game time is 4:30
