Skidmore's big day helps power Revere past Kent

Lauren Skidmore came up big on both sides of the ball in Revere's 16-3 win over Kent Roosevelt. Offensively, she went 4-5 with 3 singles, a double, 4 runs scored and 3 RBI's. On defense, Skidmore had 2 assists and and 3 putouts.
Shannon Appel also did her part on offense, going 3-5 with 2 singles, a home run and 3 RBI's. Appel also picked up the win in the circle, pitching a 5 hitter, striking out 7 on her way to the victory.
Also helping the Revere offense, which banged out 18 hits in the game were Courtenay Amentini with 2 singles, 2 runs, and 2 RBI's, Audrey York, with 2 singles and a double, 1 run and 2 RBI's, Jeanne Hujer with 2 singles and 3 RBI's and Jennica Levermann had 2 singles and 2 runs scored to round out the Revere attack.
The Minutemen play their last game of the season, Saturday May 18th against Tallmadge at Elms Sports Complex. Game time is 11AM.
