District Tennis Semi-finals and finals were held today at Springside Racquet Club in Akron. Maddie Kavenagh and Morgan Dobos competed in Division II Semi finals against the Hathaway Brown team of Brigette Fuentes and Melissa Kazazic losing a tough match in a first set tiebreaker 7-6 and 2nd set loss of 6-1. In the 2nd match they played the Hathaway Brown team of Ally Mills and Alex Wolf who defeated our team 6-1, 6-2. Even though the girls had losses today, they finished 4th in the district in their division and will compete in the State Tennis Tournament to be held Friday and Saturday, October 18 and 19 at the ATP Tennis Center in Mason, OH.
